If there is something I love in the photoshoot of emerging brands, is the use of streetwear with stale issues, low contrast and collaboration of people who aspire to contemporary art.
As a formidable example is the collection "mash papaw" brand "KALA MSA" (meaning black body in Masai) from Medellin Colombia. This brand started two years ago with designer Estefania Gutierrez Arango at the head.
The project has been developed in USA, Australia, Asia, Israel and Colombia and soon we'll have to keep an eye on their proposals. The brand concept is to create a lifestyle around everyday.
The brand travel recreates moments, cultural exchanges, telling stories on each item where space is decontextualized, generating the creation of new languages through cultural mixture to extract the sensitivity of each place. Oscillating between research, spontaneity, the colors and texture of nature.
